Nice ride Bob with quite a few changes. T- bird forks and wheel? Mild apes, different seat, tank. I especially like the paint idea. I have always thought about something to add to the front fender. Is it painted on or a decal? Chrome on the motor. You are a handy guy. Got to have a tool box! Great hobbies you have Bob.

I could use the Union Jack decal on my front fender. Nice work Bob!

Funny story, really. The Tank & front fender are original Triumph accessories. I found them (brand new) on a Craigslist in Ohio, bought them and then searched for a bike to put them on! I bought the 2005 Speedmaster in Pennsylvania, and you've all heard me cry about the mileage discrepancy on that bike which turned out to more than likely be an accurate odometer. The Speedy was the original target of the custom job, but I simply decided not to put the money into it with the title's mileage discrepancy, so bought the 2008 America. All of the Speedy's brake issues are fixed (America's brakes) and it's now a great bike, but will always have the title issue. Make a great rider for someone who planned to keep it for a good while & not worry what mileage the title says it has. (It's for sale. $3200 Link )

* The forks, wheels (& front calipers are from the 2005 Speedmaster. Rotors are new EBC floaters from Fast Eddy.
* The Handlebars are actually stock America; a perfect fit for me, but I may fit some spacers under them. Mirrors are extras I had from a T-Bird.
* The seat is HD; I don't remember which model. I bought it several years ago to fit to a Legend TT and adapted it to fit the America. It's even more comfortable than the gel seat that was on the America when I bought it.
* The tank & front fender are decaled & clear coated by Triumph. The Cardinal Red rear fender was purchased separately; a new take off from a dealer, so all "tins" are virtually new.
* All of the chrome you see in the America's red clothing that is not in it's blue came from the Speedy.
* The pics don't show the little fairing that someday will house all the indicator lights, tach and maybe a volt & oil pressure gauge.
* The America has TORs which sound great, and while the bike doesn't have the T-Birds power, it's certainly enough for a bike that's 300 lbs. lighter.

I don't know that they sell those decals alone. They were on the new tank & fender. I had a part# for them at one time, but I'm sure they're long discontinued.

I believe you are right Bob. I think a skilled artist would be the answer if I can find one.
It's really a good look on your bike.
Hope to see you in my travels this summer
